Every other hoodie in the Geedup range follows the same logic: dark base, light or coloured graphic. The GEEDUP Handstyle Hoodie in Lavender/Black inverts that entirely. The base is lavender — a colour sitting between purple and grey with a softness that no dark base can replicate. The handstyle graphic is black, rendered in the same terry towel technique as the rest of the premium Handstyle range. The result is a hoodie that looks categorically different from everything else Geedup has released without breaking any of the brand’s construction principles.
Lavender as a base is a deliberate design choice that broadens who this hoodie works for. It sits outside traditional streetwear’s reliance on neutrals and dark colourways — making it one of the most fashion-forward pieces in the current Geedup range. Understanding the Lavender/Black Colourway
The Lavender Base
A muted, desaturated purple with grey undertones. Not loud — intentionally restrained. Works across skin tones and seasons in a way that brighter purples don’t. The lavender reads differently in different lights — cooler in daylight, warmer under artificial light.
The Black Handstyle Graphic
Bold black GDUP handstyle lettering applied via terry towel technique on the lavender base. High contrast — black on lavender reads cleaner and sharper than black on most other coloured bases. The 3D texture of the terry towel logo is visible against the lighter background.
